Kelsey Watson, FNP-C
“It is our pleasure to introduce Kelsey Watson, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, as the latest addition to our dedicated healthcare team.” Kelsey brings with her a solid foundation of clinical expertise in evidence-based alternative and functional medicine given 16 years of direct patient care. Kelsey successfully earned a Bachelor of Science Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin in 2009 with honors — only to return in 2013 the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2013 to further advance her academic education and potential career opportunities by completing a Master of Science in Nursing Practitioner program – subspecializing in family practice. As a mid-level provider, Kelsey offers a wide variety of clinical experience, including but not limited to male/female hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, bariatric surgery, intravenous (IV) infusion administration/therapy, thyroid hormone management/optimization, injectable peptide therapy, dermatology and medical aesthetics, as well as general practice / primary care.
At THRIVE Hormonal Health and Wellness, Kelsey will continue to work in collaboration with our supervising physician to optimize patient hormones, support/oversee medical weight management, promote alternative more holistic treatment options for diagnostic management, and help to facilitate THRIVE(ing), happier lifestyles through health prevention! Although she will be a new addition to our clinical practice, I am confident in her ability to seamlessly integrate into our small but mighty team given the vast amount of clinical experience she brings. Kelsey delivers a compassionate approach to health management and is committed to fostering meaningful patient-provider relationships.
Outside of the clinic, Kelsey embraces her most important role as MOM to three energetic kiddos (two boys, one girl, and two fur babies) who keep her just as busy and inevitably on her toes as her patients do! We are thrilled to officially welcome Kelsey to our team and are confident our patients will feel the same!
